Description

This is an original FoMoCo center console out of a 1967 Ford Mustang. The part number cast into the plastic on the underside of the console is C7ZB-65045B54-EW. I believe this console is correct for 1967 Mustangs and Cougars. I believe it will also fit 1968 Mustangs and Cougars as well as custom applications. Please confirm your specific application. This console is in good unrestored condition as shown. It is a factory black console and does not appear to have ever been painted or dyed. I believe this console is complete less the forward most trim piece. The plastic base is very nice with no cigarette burns, cracks, or other damage that can be seen when installed. The chrome trim pieces are quite nice as shown. The chrome shines well with good reflection and light aging. I'm not sure if the woodgrain is original or not and it does show wear. The ashtray opens and closes as it should and the inner tray is in good shape. The rear lamp also looks very nice. The underside of the console looks as good as the top. The original wiring is intact as shown. The connectors are intact with the forwardmost wire having no connector. The console does have 2 cracked areas that will not show when installed. One is at the small horizontal support at the forward upper portion of the console. This break is clean with no missing pieces. The other area is around one of the holes that mounts the top trim plate to the base. This area has already been glued and looks good to go.
